Lives and works in Seoul
Kyung’s famed Debris series was inspired by Google Earth. Browsing roads and discovering their sculptural quality, Kyung takes the dismantled digital images and reassembles the elements on computer. The artist creates his unique vision of certain location on the map with a clean composition and elegant lines.

Hyoun Soo KYUNG is a Korean artist who currently lives and works in Seoul. Having received a BFA at Joongang University in Seoul, Kyung moved to New York to receive his MFA at the School of Visual Arts.
