KANG Juhyeon’s sculpture is made of photograph prints cut linearly. She use them to form a structures she selects and this is called ‘photo drawing’ as if the long and thin papers are drawing lines in three dimensional space. The initial photograph she takes becomes the skin of the objects - a grinder, tools, or a fire extinguisher - which she uses in her studio.

KANG received BFA from Jeju University, MFA from Hong-ik University and presently Phd candidate at Hong-ik University. Her works were included many solo and group shows including at Gallery Kunstraum, at Seum Art Space, at Yangpyong Art Museum, Incheon Art Platform, and many more.
