Daehoon KWON
(b. Korea)
Dae Hoon KWON (b. Korea) is trying to capture the space of thought that once existed in his mind. What he is trying to remind the audience of is not just memory of the moment but of himself, who once was living and existing in that moment. The execution of his works represent a space within a space that cannot be reached physically.

Dae Hoon Kwon was born in Korea. He obtained his BA in Sculpture in 1996 and his MA in Fine Art in 1999 from Seoul National University. In 2004, he obtained his second MA in Sculpture from the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL in London. His work has been featured in solo exhibitions around London and Seoul since 2009, and in group exhibitions since 2005. Notable galleries and museums include Moran Art Museum (Seoul), Museo Carlo Bilotti (Rome), Royal Academy of Arts (London), Seoul Museum of Art, and Tate Britain (London) amongst many others.
